Estimation of parameters of the logistic exponential distribution under progressive type-I hybrid censored sample

چکیده

The present paper addresses the problem of estimation model parameters logistic exponential distribution based on progressive type-I hybrid censored sample. maximum likelihood estimates are obtained and computed numerically using Newton–Raphson algorithm. Further, Bayes derived under squared error, LINEX generalized entropy loss functions. Two types (independent bivariate) prior distributions considered for purpose Bayesian estimation. It is seen that not explicit forms. Thus, Lindley’s approximation technique employed to get approximate estimates. Interval normal log-transformed constructed. highest posterior density credible intervals by importance sampling method. Numerical simulation performed see performance proposed techniques. A real-life data set analysed illustrations.
